In today's Wall Street Journal there is an editorial that points up one of the thoughts we have been discussing around Leadership Network.
See the editorial (warning) these links don't usually last long. Link

The editorial is about the current crop of War movies related to Iraq vs the You Tube Videos about the same subject. I am not making a pro or anti war statement here, just pointing up how the game has changed.
Wise churches realize that everything they do has the possibility of ending up on You Tube. Everything can be edited, set to music and taken out of context. And really, there is nothing you can do about those that want to create mini movies slamming your church, your style, your doctrine, anything.
About the only defense here is a good offense.
So for those churches that liberally spend the bucks producing the high end stuff for the Weekend services, you might want to consider recruiting the you tubers of your congregation and spend 25-40% of your resources helping them develop the niche videos that can spread virally through their networks.
Just a thought.
