Pastor Greg Surratt (Seacoast Church) blogged about some of the apps he uses, the other day::
In a previous post, I talked about some technology that helps me do my job. One of my most frequent needs is to capture an idea. Recently it's been: a sermon idea, ideas for the next all staff meeting, Innovation3 Conference outlines, thoughts for the next weekly email, ideas for the next series, etc.
Here's a couple of tools that I use:
2. When I'm brainstorming in groups, and we've got a computer handy, we use a free program called Dabbleboard. It is a digital whiteboard that can be accessed by groups of people from various locations.
For productivity, I also use EverNote on my iPhone, along with 3 others I'll mention here:
- MagicPad :: this notepad has multiple fonts, and what's magical is how it has CUT & PASTE!! And, it lets you create notes in rich text format that are email-able. The iPhone built-in notepad is plain too primitive.
- DarkRoom [iTMS link] :: this native app takes steady crisp & clear photos on the iPhone. No more blurry photos, unless the subject(s) are moving. I use this to capture whiteboard notes, remember faces, connect people virtually with more than just an email intro. Premium version makes the entire screen a shutter button -- no more scrambling to find the button to take a photo!
- Dial2do :: This free service lets me to send a reminder to myself via a phone call, and lets me twitter and listen to twitter. It's illegal to drive and text in California, and even if legal, it's not safe. This one is a phone service with web-based admin (so would this be called a phone app?)
What apps do you find yourself use to help your ministry?

Noter2 hands down. You can work on your computer or iPhone then sync. I could never go back to the iPhone notes app. http://dbelement.com/apps/noter2
